Aaaandd.. here we go!

Presenting to you, fresh (somewhat) from the oven, Episode 0 of the linuxNUS Podcast, Closed on Sundays !

Inside, catch up with the linuxNUS Team as we come together to create our very first-ever podcast. In it, we take a light-hearted look at the open source scene in Singapore, and our journey through it. Naturally, we welcome everyone out there along for the ride, and, of course , we’d love to hear what you have to say about us, and what we’re doing.

This being Episode 0, we have to say it’s still somewhat raw, but hey, it’s a good effort! Oh, and it’s about a week late too, so don’t be too worried about us referencing things in the show that have already passed. We ran into some.. um.. production issues . Yeah. That’s it. Enjoy. Also, don’t forget to check out the shownotes embedded within the MP3 itself.

We hope you enjoy the podcast! Oh, and did we mention feedback is always welcome?

Hello Zack. The podcast team really appreciates your positive feedback. Unfortunately, we are kinda lacking in resources for a webcast. But that may happen in the future.

Alternatively, you can also start a webcast and maybe those interested might join you :)

Great stuff! Look forward to the next episode.

Will you guys be putting this up on iTunes? It would be easier for people to subscribe on their iPod/iPhone if its on the iTunes too. :) Cheers.

Hey guys! Awesome stuff!! I think you guys already have the most important factor to a great podcast: You guys are enjoying yourself!!

    Keep it up!!

    P.S.: Whatever NTT said :P

@NTT, DK, Daniel: Thanks for dropping by!

Would definitely appreciate any tips you guys might have to give!

What do you guys use to put the podcast together? We’re currently using Ardour (http://ardour.org)

We probably won’t go to iTunes till we have more episodes though =)

Wow, ardour looks pretty fancy. NTT’s our sound guy, so he’s the best guy to talk to about audio. We use Audacity to record and mix, and iTunes to create conforming ID3 Tags (album art etc) and to export them to the right bit-rate. Audacity’s not very good with exporting MP3s.

Are you guys coming down to Geek Terminal this Saturday?
