“We’re Linux” video contest winners announced

15 April 2009 Misc, News 3,739 views One Comment

In the wake of Apple’s "I’m a Mac" ads , and Microsoft’s Jerry Sienfeld ones, the Linux Foundation earlier this year called upon the community to produce short video clips with their personal take on the theme, "I’m Linux", in the form of a contest.

The winners have just been announced , and here they are:

<

p style=”text-align: center;”> Armitay Tweeto’s winning entry, "What does it mean to be free?"

<

p style=”text-align: center;”> The Origin… from Agustin Eguia on Vimeo .

<

p style=”text-align: center;”> Third placed "Linux Pub", by sebmasse

For more "I’m Linux" fun, check out the videos on the Linux Foundation site, or on YouTube .

[Thanks Nixxy, for posting the news about this on the mailing list !]
