My favorite sections in the NUS Central Library is the TK5I05.885 and QA76.76 – all catering to the latest and old books on various Computer technologies. Hackfest @ HackerspaceSG
Crisis Camp!
linuxNUS is back with its Hackfest and this time our venue is HackerspaceSG! Interestingly, the theme of the Hackfest is “Crisis Camp”! [1] We plan to hack (conceptually and practically) projects for improving technology and practice for humanitarian crisis management and disaster relief.
Inspired by the CrisisCommons Projects [2] of Crisis Camps, we organise this for NUS students and the local Singapore developer community to join and discuss.

Four years ago to this day, 7 Oct 2005, linuxNUS was officially born. That is to day, of course, that we were officially recognised as a Student Special Interest Group.
