You can start just by subscribing to our Yahoo! Group. Lurk around and make a few posts just to find out exactly how easy going and helpful we are.

Alternatively, you can just drop by SOC1 #03-19 just for a quick intro and see some of us in person. Or come for our events as well. That will definitely be more engaging than simply communicating via email.

If you want to do more than just being active in the the Yahoo! Group, consider joining the coreteam by writing to join@linuxNUS.org. Share with us your skills, past experiences and appointments.

This will let us understand you better and hopefully help us match you to an appropriate role. Most importantly, tell us which position you are interested in. You may also want to tell us the personal objectives that you have set for yourself in joining the coreteam.

Do note that technical skills are not essential. In fact, the ability to contribute positively to team dynamics and strong enthusiasm is very important.

You may wish to note that CCA points are not awarded to coreteam members as linuxNUS is still a Students’ Interest Group.
